Deep Spin was pulled at Magnolia Editions in Oakland, CA on a flatbed transfer press. Each of the 11 runs was separately hand-drawn by the artist on translucent mylar. The drawings were transferred to plates via contact printing. The prints were pulled individually, one color at a time. The artist used watercolor washes and colored pencil to produce a working proof which was used as the standard for the edition. The artist continued to make changes and refinements and added more runs to the print during the editioning.
